Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
OCD is the heart of my practice. That includes contamination, checking and intrusive thoughts, plus the less talked-about themes people often live with for years.

Why a wider life
It happens a little at a time. One more hand wash. One more check. One more Google search. You skip a dinner, cancel a trip and slowly stop doing the things you used to love. Before long, OCD and anxiety are making more of your decisions than you are, and your world gets smaller.
Doubt always has another “what if.” So you prepare for every worst-case outcome, and the time and energy that should go into your life goes to fear instead.
Therapy helps you take your life back. Each time you face a fear or let a doubt go unanswered, you learn what fear never let you see. You can cope, and you can trust yourself. Over time, that becomes real confidence. Not because you feel certain, but because you know you can handle not being certain.
Piece by piece, we rebuild a life that feels like yours again.
What I help with
I specialize in OCD, health anxiety, phobias and panic disorder. In all of them, avoidance keeps fear alive, and the way through is to face it, gradually and together.
OCD is the heart of my practice. That includes contamination, checking and intrusive thoughts, plus the less talked-about themes people often live with for years.
Step-by-step exposure therapy for emetophobia (fear of vomiting), agoraphobia, fear of flying, needles, blood, medical procedures and more.
Help breaking the cycle of body checking, Googling and reassurance seeking that keeps illness worries going.
Help with panic attacks and the fear of having another one, using CBT and interoceptive exposure.
What sets my work apart
I trained for over 1,000 hours at Sunnybrook's Frederick W. Thompson Anxiety Disorders Centre. Exposure and response prevention (ERP), the first-line treatment for OCD, is at the core of how I work.
Sessions aren't just talk. We plan exposures and do them together. Because sessions are virtual, we can practice right where fear shows up, like your kitchen, your commute or the grocery store.
I'm also trained in ACT and DBT, and I'm currently training in I-CBT. If exposure alone hasn't worked for you before, there's another way in.
The goal isn't just fewer symptoms. It's trusting yourself again and building a life that isn't organized around fear.
The Wider Life Model™
The Wider Life Model™ is how I organize treatment. The idea is simple. Fear and doubt shrink your life, and treatment widens it again. The WIDER pathway shows how that happens, step by step.

I'm creating short videos and posts about OCD, anxiety and living a wider life. They're still in the works, but the accounts are live, so you can follow now and catch them as they come out.
